General Provisions

Ninja Cards is a digital player card system containing attributes and automatically calculated rating based on results achieved in Ninja Series Poland competitions.

Skill Challenges is a video challenge system in which participants can submit recordings of their skills for verification by coaches and administrators.

The use of Ninja Cards and Skill Challenges features requires acceptance of these regulations.

02

Ninja Cards — General Rules

Every registered participant can receive their own Ninja Card — a unique player card in the system.

  • The card contains overall rating (scale 0-99 points) — a synthetic assessment of the participant's skills.
  • The card displays 6 attributes: Strength, Agility, Endurance, Balance, Speed, and Grip.
  • The card has badges for achievements and special skills (Super Skills).
  • Each card has a status: draft (working, not publicly visible) or published (visible to other participants and fans).
  • The card is generated automatically by the system after the participant's first competition in Ninja Series Poland and updated after each event.
03

Card System — Types and Collecting

The Ninja Cards system offers various card types that participants can earn and collect in their profile.

Main Card

Each participant has one main card — their personal Ninja Card that reflects their skills and progress:

  • The main card contains overall rating, 6 attributes (Strength, Agility, Endurance, Balance, Speed, Grip), badges, and Super Skills.
  • The main card's attributes can be developed (maxed out) through competition participation, results, and completing Skill Challenges.
  • The main card is the only card whose attributes and badges are actively updated by the system.
  • A participant cannot have more than one main card — it serves as their unique identity in the Ninja Series system.

Coach Card

Coaches registered in the Ninja Series system receive a Coach Card — a special card type distinguished by a different colour scheme from standard age category cards:

  • The Coach Card is linked to the coach account — awarded automatically after the coach application is approved by an administrator.
  • The Coach Card has a unique colour palette, distinguishing it from player cards of individual age categories.
  • A coach who is also an active competitor may hold both a main card (player) and a Coach Card.
  • The Coach Card may contain information about club affiliation, specialisation, and coaching experience.

Special and Legendary Cards

The system also features special and legendary cards that can be earned under exceptional circumstances:

  • Special cards — awarded for completing special Skill Challenges (e.g., seasonal challenges, event challenges, collaboration challenges).
  • Legendary cards — exceptionally rare cards for outstanding achievements (e.g., Grand Final victory, course record, undefeated streak).
  • Collector cards — limited edition cards created for special events, anniversaries, or partner collaborations.
  • Special, legendary, and collector cards have unique graphic designs and are not subject to the standard attribute system.

Card Collecting

A participant's profile can contain multiple cards — in addition to the main card, users build a collection:

  • The main card is always displayed as the primary card in the profile and is the one developed through attributes and badges.
  • Other cards (Coach, special, legendary, collector) are visible in the collection section of the participant's profile.
  • Card collecting is optional — it does not affect overall rating or ranking position.
  • Some cards may be limited in quantity — once the edition is exhausted, they cannot be obtained again.
  • The administrator reserves the right to create new card types and define the conditions for obtaining them.
04

Rating Calculation Algorithm

The overall rating on Ninja Card is calculated automatically based on the participant's results, taking into account the following rules:

  • Starting base: 25 points for each participant.

    • Finals: +7 points

    • Open competitions: +4 points
    • Maximum: +15 points
  • Podium bonus (2-3rd place):
    • Finals: +5 points
    • Regional competitions: +4 points
    • Open competitions: +3 points
    • Maximum: +30 points

    • Finals: +4.5 points
    • Regional competitions: +3.5 points
    • Open competitions: +2.5 points
    • Maximum: +25 points
  • Completion bonus (11-20th place):
    • Finals: +2.5 points
    • Regional competitions: +2 points
    • Open competitions: +1.5 points
    • Maximum: +12 points
  • Completion (21st+ place): +1 point per participation.
  • DNF (Did Not Finish) penalty: -0.3 points.
  • Result freshness: Results are weighted by coefficients depending on the season:
    • Current season: x1.0
    • Previous season: x0.9
    • 2 years ago: x0.8
    • Older results: x0.7
  • Age category rating limits:
    • 6-8 years: maximum 35 points
    • 9-10 years: maximum 45 points
    • 11-12 years: maximum 55 points

    • 15-17 years: maximum 90 points
    • 18+ years: maximum 99 points
  • Attributes (STR, AGI, END, BAL, SPE, GRI): Calculated automatically based on overall rating, taking into account the variance characteristic of the participant's skill set.
  • Manual adjustments: The administrator has the right to manually adjust attributes and overall rating in justified cases (e.g., recovery from injury, age category change).
05

Age Categories

Age categories on Ninja Card are consistent with the league categories of Ninja Series Poland:

  • Kids 6-8 (Boys / Girls)
  • Kids 9-10 (Boys / Girls)
  • Kids 11-12 (Boys / Girls)
  • Junior 13-14 (Boys / Girls)

  • Pro Women (upon participant request, with administrator approval)

Age category changes occur automatically in the system when the participant reaches the appropriate age.

06

Skill Challenges

The Skill Challenges system allows participants to submit video recordings of their skills for verification and potential impact on Ninja Card attributes.

General Rules

  • A participant may submit a video recording demonstrating a specific skill (e.g., flips, apparatus transitions, speed).
  • The recording must contain a valid URL link (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or other video service).
  • Submitted challenges are verified by a coach or administrator within up to 7 business days.
  • The participant will be notified of the verification result via email or system message.
  • Videos must be published by the participant themselves or with their explicit consent.

Impact on Main Card Attributes

Approved Skill Challenges directly impact the attributes of the participant's main card:

  • Each challenge is assigned to one or more attributes (Strength, Agility, Endurance, Balance, Speed, Grip).
  • Upon challenge approval, the corresponding main card attributes are increased according to the system algorithm.
  • Approved challenges may be highlighted on the Ninja Card as Super Skills.
  • The impact of a challenge on attributes depends on the difficulty level of the challenge and the quality of execution as assessed by the verifier.

Repeatable Challenges

The system features repeatable challenges — challenges that can be completed multiple times to max out individual attributes:

  • Repeatable challenges are marked in the system and can be resubmitted by the participant after a specified cooldown period.
  • Each subsequent completion of a repeatable challenge adds points to the associated attribute, up to its maximum value.
  • Repeatable challenges allow participants to deliberately develop specific attributes (e.g., a series of Grip challenges allows gradually maxing out that attribute).
  • The frequency of repetitions and the maximum number of completions per challenge may be limited by the administrator.

Special Challenges

In addition to standard challenges, the system offers special challenges — unique challenges with additional rewards:

  • Seasonal challenges — available during a specific season period, completing which earns special or collector cards.
  • Event challenges — tied to specific Ninja Series competitions, rewarding with special event cards.
  • Legendary challenges — exceptionally difficult challenges, completing which earns legendary cards.
  • Special challenges may require meeting additional conditions (e.g., minimum overall rating, a certain number of competition starts).
  • Cards earned from special challenges are added to the collection section of the participant's profile.
07

Badges and Achievements

Ninja Card may contain badges awarded by the administrator for participant achievements:

  • Season Champion — for winning the entire season in an age category.
  • Podium Master — for regularly finishing on the podium.
  • Consistency King — for participating in 5+ competitions in one season.
  • Speedrunner — for the fastest course completion.
  • Grip Master — for the highest Grip attribute rating.
  • Balance Warrior — for the highest Balance attribute rating.
  • Super Skills — awarded for an approved Skill Challenge that stands out in a specific skill area.

Badges are displayed on the public card profile and serve as recognition for the participant in the community.

08

A participant's Ninja Card with published status is publicly visible to all website users and may be displayed on league pages and rankings.
